Account Deletion

CryWhy Account Deletion Request

We respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. If you no longer wish to use CryWhy: AI Baby Translator and want your account removed, you can submit a deletion request.

Option 1: Delete from the App

  1. Open the CryWhy app on your device.
  2. Tap the settings icon in the top-right corner.
  3. Scroll down to the Account section.
  4. Tap Delete account.
  5. Confirm the deletion when prompted. Your account and data will be removed within a few seconds.

Option 2: Request via Email

If you can no longer access the app, you can request deletion by email:

  1. Send an email to contact@crywhy.com.
  2. Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request".
  3. Include the email address associated with your CryWhy account.
  4. Our support team will process your request within 5-7 business days.

What data is deleted?

Upon receiving a verified deletion request, we will permanently delete the following information associated with your account:

  • Your Email Address.
  • Any device linkages or identifiers tied to your account profile.
  • Your personal translation history logs tied to your account.

What data is kept?

To maintain the integrity of our financial records and improve our AI model, the following anonymized data is retained:

  • Anonymized Audio Clips: Any audio clips previously submitted to our AI model are stripped of all personal identifiers (email, user ID) upon submission. They are retained indefinitely strictly for the purpose of training and improving the AI translation model. They cannot be linked back to you.
  • Financial Records: Anonymous transaction IDs processed through Google Play and related payment records are retained to comply with tax and financial reporting laws.

Remember to also cancel your active subscription directly through the Google Play Store Subscriptions menu to prevent future billing. Deleting your CryWhy account does not automatically stop Google Play billing.
